Through sound, find inner silence.

With a continuous stream of noise and distraction in our daily lives, it's important that we find silence and focus within ourselves. You might have heard of the many benefits that meditation can have for our overall health and wellbeing; however, it can be difficult to achieve, especially for beginners.

Through the sounds of therapeutic instruments, I offer a gateway to deep relaxation, stillness, presence, and awareness. This becomes an opportunity to connect with self in meditation, or to simply rest and revitalise the mind and body. There is nothing you need to do other than show up, get comfortable, and be open to the experience.

My formal training in sound started with The British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST) at the beginning of 2020. Through my training as a Sound Therapy Practitioner with BAST, I’ve learnt how to use their method to facilitate one-to-one sessions, playing the gong, Himalayan singing bowls, or drum, as well as assisting clients in a self-reflective process. In 2022, after over 70 hours of treatments, I completed my training with a huge sense of fulfilment and gratitude to the people I connected with and the lessons I learnt during this time.

To complement my training in sound, I also completed Meditation Teacher Training (50 hours) with Registered Yoga School, Arhanta Yoga in 2022. It's certainly been a time of learning and discovery and, as I work, I’m still discovering what sound and meditation have to offer, which instruments I feel most called to, and how I can work with sound and meditation in a more intuitive way.

My current intention with sound is to simply allow my clients to receive the sound in whichever way is needed for them. It may be an opportunity to find a state of deep relaxation and stillness, allowing the mind and body to rest, or to connect with self in meditation. With time, I hope to develop my offering with sound, particularly in relation to women’s health.
